Apparently I’m having a purple moment, too. I hear it’s currently going around, at least among bloggers. I expect to see a lot of purple this fall (hello Zang Toi F/W 2013), but still think that blue will be the season’s it color.
This photo was taken in front of the Andy Warhol Cow Wallpaper at the MoMA Education and Research Building. I really haven’t been to the MoMA in a long time and forgot how much I like the modern minimalism. It’s very soothing to the eye.
Pre-MoMA, Alice and I went to Joe’s Shanghai for soup dumplings and twice-cooked pork. I’m partial to the pork dumplings, and it’s still a toss-up on whose are better– Joe’s or Shanghai Cafe. I’m inclined to say Joe’s wins for the dumplings, but the other dishes at Shanghai are generally better than the ones at Joe’s. But of course, nothing beats Vanessa’s for your basic pan-fried pork dumpling. I wish they did soup dumplings, too.
